Pastor John Biak continued his testimony with stories of how he and the missionaries of Restoration Myanmar Mission, the mission he leads, worked to share the gospel under persecution and difficulties. In Myanmar, sharing the gospel is one thing, accepting it is another. One cannot follow Jesus without paying the price in that part of the world. One must endure social rejection and physical violence from family in order to become a Christian in Myanmar.

Although they faced opposition from all around, there were also victories claimed along the way. Deep relationships were built in their long-term commitment and many gave their lives to Christ as a result. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commanded his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. Jesus didn’t command us to spread the gospel but commanded us to make disciples, and that is exactly what Pastor Biak and his missionaries are currently doing in Myanmar.
