Kim Il Sung is reported to have said, “Only Christianity can cut the root of our communism.” He believed in the power of Christianity, and he did everything in his power to ensure that Christianity was not presented truthfully.

For example, most NKs have heard of Christianity, but what they heard was severely distorted.  At a very young age, NK children were taught about missionaries and how they first appeared to be very nice and polite.  But they would use their nice appearance to lure people into their homes, kill them and eat their guts.

What many NKs don’t know is that the Bible teaches Christians to love their enemies and to do good to those who do bad to them.  Even Jesus himself loved his enemies so much that he suffered and died for them.
